On the morning of June 4, 2015, Joseph Fannell, 22 was on his way to work, when a driver ran a red light and t-boned his car. Joseph died the next day from a severe injury to the brain.
Joseph’s passion was Spoken Word poetry. Shortly after his death, the family started The Joseph M. Fannell Memorial Foundation to honor Joseph’s memory while supporting young adults in the performing arts, through scholarship awards and competitions.
No matter the occasion or weather, Joseph loved wearing bow ties, which quickly became his signature, especially when he performed.
In honor of Joseph and to commemorate his love for bow ties, The Foundation has created Joe-Ties™.
Joe-Ties are bow ties made specifically from a collection of fabrics and patterns that Joe liked to wear. They are designed and distributed exclusively by TieBro Handmade Bow Ties.
All proceeds from the sales of Joe-Ties, directly benefit The Joseph M. Fannell Memorial Foundation.
Ties are made to order and can be purchased in children’s size or for adults, self tie or pre-tie. To order, click on the Joe-Tie title or visit http://tiebrobowties.com/collections/joeties
